With new collections of melaminated particleboard from SWISS KRONO, decorative panels from Sm'Art and worktops from FENIX® Holland Laminati gets a better foothold in the Dutch record market. More possibilities in customization and a digital stroke also ensure better service for customers.
Sheet supplier Holland Laminati of Ravenstein has seized 2020 for a major renovation, says Marcel Tiemessen. "We have expanded our range with a collection of melaminated chipboard and thin laminate from SWISS KRONO. The uniqueness of Swiss Krono are the contemporary decors and the matte texture of the boards. We have boards in six different body colors, from light gray to dark. In addition, since this year we supply a collection of high-end decorative panels and laminates by Sm'Art, which are beautiful decors in melamine that are almost indistinguishable from real wood due to their deep structures."
In addition to the new products, Holland Laminati has also introduced the Arpa® For You, FENIX® NTM and FENIX® NTA further expanded in the Netherlands, continues Tiemessen. "We can supply those sheets in all kinds of shapes and sizes, such as countertops, loose HPL or compact. For the kitchen industry, we even offer FENIX® countertops that include a sink. This is unique on the market. By purchasing large volumes, we can offer customers more competitive prices. In addition, we provide more customization. We can supply semi-finished products, such as custom panels and plated boards."
To further expand its own sales area, Holland Laminati has appointed a new representative: Ron Derks. At the Ravenstein office, Tiemessen has been joined by a general manager, Belgian Jan Lombaerts. "Because of my Flemish accent it takes some getting used to when they have me on the line. They wonder if they haven't called Holland Laminati Belgium by mistake. But fortunately I can quickly reassure them. All the expansion has given us a better foothold in furniture and interior construction. To grow further with Holland Laminati, we are also looking for a new sales force."
With a digital stroke, Holland Laminati seeks to better serve customers online as well. Lombaerts. "We recently launched a new website, where customers can directly request their most competitive price. We will also open a webshop in the near future, where we will offer our entire assortment online. With their own account, customers can view our stock and place orders. A customer history keeps track of what they have ordered before. That works a lot more efficiently than when everything has to be done by phone or mail."
Finally, Tiemessen mentions another nice trigger for customers to buy products from the FENIX® NTM and NTA collection at Holland Laminati. "FENIX® together with Alpecin is a sponsor of Mathieu van der Poel's cycling team. As part of this, we have the FENIX® Cycling Challenge devised. Customers who, by purchasing Fenix®-products achieve sales increases with us are rewarded with a cycling jersey or other cycling-related gift. It's only a small thing, but it puts both FENIX® as Holland Laminati in a sporting way on the map."
