PU hot melt adhesives are becoming increasingly popular in furniture construction. They excel through low consumption and extremely high heat and water resistance. Unlike EVA hot melt adhesives, the plastic-based adhesive adheres not only physically but also chemically in the joint. This creates a particularly and durable bond between the edge and the panel. If the machine is optimally adjusted, even an "optical zero joint" is possible. Ostermann's experts appreciate the many advantages of PU hot melt adhesives and therefore offer a comprehensive range of PU hot melt adhesives. The range includes products from different brands in different colors, filled and unfilled variants and hot melt adhesives with or without mandatory PU training. Kitchen, furniture and interior builders can obtain PU adhesives for any type of edge gluing machine from Ostermann: in granular form for melting in the designated glue tub, as hot melt adhesive cartridges (e.g. for Holz-Her edge glue machines) or as 2 kg PU blocks for machines with a premelting unit.
