Sometimes a company comes up with an innovation that competitors envy. An example of such a revolutionary product is Frencken's new CLICK&FIX spray system. It combines the speed of a canister with the mobility of a spray can.
"It may look extremely easy, but this system was hard to make!" says Technical Support Manager Robert Paul Abbink. "We spent a long time working on a spraying system that met our high demands. A good spray pattern is of course important, but so is ergonomic working. In addition, the recipe of the adhesives had to be adjusted."
The development of the CLICK&FIX system began several years ago. "Our customers previously had the choice of 'bombs' (canisters) or spray cans. However, the canisters were sometimes too large, leaving them too long and deteriorating the quality of the adhesive. Spray cans have a small capacity and only one spray width. We were therefore looking for a compact spray system that could be precisely adjusted."
Finally, a special patented spray system was created that, despite the weight of a full spray can, sits just right in the hand. It is very fast (1 m² in 30 seconds) and the spray width is adjustable between 3 and 15 centimeters. "It's a matter of clicking in and going! After use, the system is also easy to clean, it is enough to click the cleaning sprayer onto the gun. The spray gun is then clean within a few seconds."
Abbink is very enthusiastic about CLICK&FIX. "Those should have been colleagues when they were still working in professional practice themselves! We have been testing prototypes at our customers over the past few months and they are also very positive. Especially the fact that we got the spray pattern so good is important to them." So far there are four adhesives available for the system, these are the Classic Spray, Classic Spray Fast, High Tack Spray and Spray & Go. In addition, a cleaner is available.
Frencken also supplies a handy CLICK&FIX combo box with two contact adhesive spray cans, a Cleaner spray can, a CLICK&FIX gun, brush and wrench. After purchasing the CLICK&FIX combo box, the spray cans can be ordered separately. If you are interested or have any questions, please contact the Frencken sales team.
