With great satisfaction, Geert Nefkens of GN Kantentechniek looks back on the open days he organized in April. If he counted correctly, at least 35 companies would have visited Horst. "Also the suppliers with whom we cooperated and who held their presentations in our company had a good feeling about what we put up. So nothing to complain about!" laughs Geert, who listed the three most frequently asked questions during the open days and... here are the answers!
Geert: "Yes indeed! It is a lightweight. The gun lies easily in the hand and is therefore easy to handle. In other words, the device is very ergonomically sound and well balanced. Also, the refill pack is easy to assemble. It is literally "Plug And Play. Or in other words, "Click and Fix! Moreover, this refill does not fall under chemical waste. It can just go with the residual waste. The price is good but the advantage is mainly in the efficiency. You can work faster. So, the user gains time and can reduce his cost price per unit."
Geert: "No!"
"Yes. However, I can imagine that people do not expect such high quality batter for the price at which Hranipex markets it. I'll explain briefly: Hranipex has the batter produced by specialized factories. They have a lot of influence on the raw materials used and the intended level of quality. The products then go directly to the warehouse in the Czech Republic after which it is shipped to the branches in Europe, including the Netherlands. So there are no unnecessary links in the chain. This makes a huge difference in costs. It's really that simple."
When asked if Geert will again schedule Open Days in 2026, he answered in the affirmative. "Of course I intend to. I must honestly say that I had also in a brief moment considered organizing the Open Days again in 2025 but I shouldn't. After all, next year is just another time for the HoutPro+. Then I shouldn't get in the middle of that. For 2026, of course, I already have plenty of ideas. In any case, I hope to be able to present an even broader range of products with more colleagues from the industry showing their expertise. I would really love that."
"One thing I already know for sure, though," Geert concludes with a laugh. "The simple French fry truck will also be in front of the door again in two years. After all, it was a resounding success now. In fact, I wouldn't even dare to organize the next Open Days without a French fry truck!"
