How do you optimize a product presentation in a store?

Kevin Boon and his team from Boon Interieurmontage recently furnished the new ladies fashion store 'Lapaja' in Kijkduin. This store, with its fresh and modern look, is fully equipped with Perfotube's innovative Lunar System. This chic and modern retail system provides a beautiful illumination of the products in the store. We spoke with Kevin about this project.

Lapaja Kijkduin recently opened its sixth store and chose Boon Interieurmontage for both design and installation. Kevin explains, "We specialize in assembling various interiors. For Lapaja this time, we provided not only the installation but also the design. The challenge was to create a modern and chic look that showcased both the clothing and accessories beautifully."

The choice of the Lunar System was therefore logical. Kevin explains: "We have worked with Perfotube before and their systems are reliable. For Lapaja, we wanted something that looks good and is also practical. The Lunar System combined with LED lighting ensures that the full attention is on the products." 

The Lunar System offers a unique solution for a product presentation by seamlessly integrating lighting, with the carrier frames acting as power points. When the carriers are placed in the frames, they automatically connect for the LED lighting, ensuring perfect illumination without visible wiring. This system, with its exclusive look, is ideal for the high-end, such as upscale fashion and shoe stores and delicatessens. In addition, it is often used to highlight special items in stores such as opticians and perfumeries. Shelves incorporated into luxury walk-in closets for high-end homes are also among the possibilities.

One of the biggest advantages of the Lunar System with LED lighting is its flexibility. "You can easily adjust it to the seasons and the collection," Kevin says. "It really helps the products stand out better." The system's accessories come in both a vertically adjustable version with wall profiles and a monopoint version, providing additional flexibility. "The wall panels we used are equipped with electrical connections on the back, so there is no wiring in sight. The LED lighting in the shelves at Lapaja Kijkduin, for example, is ideal for highlighting shoes and bags."

The project had its challenges. For example, during installation, the system size was changed last-minute. Kevin says, "We were then able to switch quickly with Perfotube to ensure that the store was still delivered on time. First get everything in order and then we did discuss the price. This approach is very valuable and characteristic of the cooperation with Perfotube."

Kevin is enthusiastic about the partnership. "They always think along and offer solutions. Whether it's design or delivery, they are flexible and fast." For other interior designers, Kevin has some clear advice: "Invest in a practical and stylish system like Lunar. It really makes a difference."

Clearly, a well-thought-out system can improve a store's layout and customer experience. Kevin and his team look forward to many more such projects.
