Renowned machine manufacturer HOMAG has had nesting machines on offer for some time. Yet they are convinced at distributor OPTIMAT Group that the new CENTATEQ N-210 and N-510 can shift up a gear. Literally and figuratively. The new nesting centers add a market-compliant, high-quality alternative for industrial use to the wide range of machines.
HOMAG keeps its finger on the pulse of the industry and closely follows the demands of the professional. This feeling with the market is the compass for new development and further improvement of machines. The demand for an industrial nesting solution has now also been answered, with the HOMAG CENTATEQ N-210 and N-510. By building these machines differently, the lead time in production has been significantly reduced, with a positive impact on the cost price.
It makes HOMAG's new nesting centers a strong price option. Sales manager Peter van Zijp of distributor OPTIMAT Group says, "These are certainly not the cheaper machines in the industry, but the wide capabilities and high-quality components make the price difference permissible. For example, we only use Busch claw pumps, for deep vacuum."
OPTIMAT Group has had the N-210 and the N-510 in its range since the end of 2022. Twelve machines have already been sold in the Benelux. The first machines have been delivered since the third quarter of this year.
Both models are available in various configurations. For example, you determine the size of the vacuum table, from 2,550 to 7,590 millimeters long and from 1,260 to 2,160 millimeters wide. You also have many choices for the distribution of the table's controlled vacuum segments. So you can easily machine even small panels.
"In addition, you choose between a three-, four- or five-axis milling motor - stand alone or fully integrated - and add one or more of three protective systems," Peter adds. "You also flexibly customize the protective fencing, bumper and light lines. So not only do you configure the N-210 or N-510 to suit your needs, this machine evolves with you. How about manual feeding or automatic loading via a magazine, for example? All possibilities are available. You expand machine handling quickly and easily. Just plug-and-play."
The new nesting machines surpass their predecessors in several areas. Better dust extraction allows for cleaner work, the nesting table creates more negative pressure to better hold the panels, and the motors move faster, with better chipping. As a result, the machine is constantly moving and there is less risk of burn marks as a direct result. The N-210 and the N-510 are equipped with the latest HOMAG controller, the PC87. This immediately brings a lot of graphic capabilities into your workshop.
"To top it off, the Busch vacuum pumps require very little maintenance and produce barely 69dB of noise. They are very quiet for the operations they perform," Peter concludes.
