'We breathe fasteners' - This slogan emphasizes that fasteners are part of pgb-Europe's DNA and have been for 3 generations. pgb-Europe was founded in 1956 as a one-man business under the name Pennoit-Grootaert and has continued to grow into a leading player under the leadership of Marc and Luc Pennoit. The range includes more than 35,000 different types of products, constantly kept in stock: nuts and bolts, professional wood screws, European approved anchors, as well as all kinds of tools and drilling accessories. 

"For that, we invested in a new pallet warehouse with automated pallet handling and elevator systems without human intervention, good for 28,000 pallet spaces spread over an area of 5,000 m². We use automated guided vehicles (AGVs) and fully autonomous robots to transport goods. We have our own production facilities for anchors (Poland) and wood screws (Vietnam), where certified products are made according to European regulations. To serve our customers even better, we developed an app, giving them everything they need right at their fingertips to enter orders or consult product information from any location," says Martin de Zwart, director of sales for the Netherlands.

PFS+ wood screws

Naturally, pgb-Europe in 's-Hertogenbosch is presenting a selection from its range of fasteners. The focus is on the professional PFS+ wood screws, which are ideally suited for wood-on-wood applications. They are characterized by their special cutting point, high pull-out values and fast assembly, which is why they are used by professionals in the most diverse applications. 

"We have a wide range of different types of PFS+ wood screws, each with their own specific properties," de Zwart explains. "For example, visitors will be able to learn about our decking screws with special milling ribs, which are suitable for hardwood. Thanks to their drill point, pre-drilling is unnecessary. Our MDF screws with green tip have a particularly low torque thanks to the special green wax. The small head and milling ribs guarantee a perfect finish for any project. Finally, for classic exterior constructions, we offer double-threaded hardwood screws in a bronze finish. They are not only extremely effective, but also guarantee a unique aesthetic appearance. During four days, our experts will provide the necessary information around these and other fasteners and seek appropriate answers to each visitor's specific questions."
