In interior design, steel is currently all the rage. And whoever says steel, says Perfotube. The company from Renswoude produces metal frames, furniture parts and systems for store presentations, hospitality interiors and project design. In doing so, Perfotube explicitly seeks cooperation with interior builders, who by nature 'think more in terms of wood'.
Also for De Boer Maatwerk in interieur, Perfotube has been the contact for years in the field of steel. The two parties worked together on the interiors of Inntel Hotel The Hague Marina Beach in Scheveningen and Inntel Hotel Amsterdam Landmark. We are talking about the general areas and all hotel rooms.
"We are strong in specialty furniture, such as a reception desk, breakfast buffet or bar," says operations director John Coenders. "And actually not so much in the large series involved in furnishing hundreds of rooms. We don't have the production capacity for that, which is why we normally can't keep up in price terms. That's why we used to do only the general areas for Inntel Hotels. Until we were allowed to furnish a test room that included a lot of metal work. Because in combination with metal it was suddenly interesting for us."
Because of that combination with metal, De Boer Maatwerk in interieur sought collaboration with Perfotube. As so often. "We know very well what level of quality we can expect from each other," says owner Jacob de Boer. "So if metal is involved in a project, Perfotube is actually always our starting point."
