Technical Matt series expanded, now nine designs available

The introduction of Finsa's Technical Matt was about a year ago. Back then, the product was launched with three popular and versatile colors; black, white and titan. After adding these colors to the stock collection of several distributors in Holland, Belgium and Germany, it was time to expand the color selection.

Features of Technical Matt

Technical Matt is a special topcoat made specifically for processing as a horizontal surface. This finish is a combination of acrylic lacquers and a unique electron beam drying system, giving the top coat unique properties.
Thus, it is ultra-matt, has an anti-fingerprint effect, is velvety to the touch and is highly resistant to surface scratches.

In addition to these characteristics, Technical Matt has some exceptional qualities, which are especially useful in the kitchen: it is resistant to dry heat and suitable for contact with food. It is also antibacterial and easy to clean. It even stands up to disinfectants such as bleach and hydrogen peroxide.

New designs

Now that the boards have been available for a while, it is noticeable that the three different colors are no longer sufficient for the market demand. So the design team at Finsa dived into today's trends and released a number of new decors for this unique finish.

While deciding on the first three colors of Technical Matt, other soft light colors were already in doubt, as they are quite sought-after designs besides white. It is therefore no surprise that two new light-colored decors, namely a light gray and light earth tone, have now been added to the series. In addition to the light designs, two dark colors have also been added, a dark blue and dark green. These fall completely within the trend of darker interiors. Without being black, they remain industrial and/or chic in style and are certainly suitable for a beautiful and unique kitchen, for example. Combine them, for example, with a brass or bronze handle for a luxurious look.

Last but not least, two marble designs have also been added. Of course, these fit perfectly with today's kitchen trends. The decor comes in a white marble and a black marble.

Availability

Technical Matt is available from stock through Baars & Bloemhoff and Maiburg in the Netherlands and through Cras in Belgium on Finsa's unique Superpan in size 3050 x 1220 x 19 mm. The ultra-matte Technical Matt top layer is also available on a number of other carriers such as (moisture-resistant) MDF and the compact wood fiber board Compac Plus. In addition to being FSC certified (and available as PEFC on request), Technical Matt carries the cradle-to-cradle Bronze certificate.

Superpan is a carrier board exclusively produced by Finsa that consists of HDF top layers and a chipboard core, giving Superpan the advantages of both. Among its excellent physical-mechanical properties, the board is perfectly machinable, has an excellent surface finish and high resistance to impact.

So this ultra-matte sheet with anti-fingerprint finish is available in the uni colors white, titan (gray), black and the new colors: dark blue, dark green, light gray and cashmere. Also available in white or black marble decor.
