Inviting interior with invisible hinges

A seamless transition between surfaces

The new headquarters of potato processor Agristo in Wielsbeke (BE) is a real eye-catcher. From the architecture with organic shapes and gold accents to the warm interior. To realize the homely atmosphere inside, OYO Architects chose, among other things, ARLU's invisible hinges.

Welcoming customers, getting prospective employees excited about the company and even having associations from the neighborhood organize something: the central atrium of the new building immediately sets the tone. For the interior, this means wood as a warm building material, the presence of plants, homely furniture and a seamless transition between surfaces.

Details make the difference, such as ARLU's invisible hinges.

Eye for aesthetics

From the start of the project, aesthetic added value was paramount, in the architecture and in the interior finishes. Often details make the difference. Among other things, OYO Architects chose invisible hinges from ARLU. "These contribute to the sleek elegant look we were aiming for for the interior at Agristo. The transition between wooden cabinets, walls and doors are not broken by iron-colored hinges. The hidden hinges avoid drawing attention to the techniques and distracting from the warm, quiet, inviting interior. We are proud of the aesthetically coherent end result."

The Invisible neo guarantees maximum freedom of movement with its 180-degree opening angle.

Invisible neo

ARLU's invisible neo is a 3D adjustable hinge with invisible screws and a high quality look and feel. They are reversible and can be used for both left and right doors. With their opening angle of 180 degrees, they guarantee maximum freedom of movement. Invisible neo is available in eleven different colors for an optimal match with any interior.

Futureproof building

OYO Architects built the necessary flexibility into the office building to meet future needs. For example, an expansion on the ground floor is easily possible in time. What the building should respond to today and what it should anticipate for the years to come, the architects did not simply decide on their own. "During the design phase, we actively gathered input from different departments," they explain at OYO. "By involving employees in this way, we were certain that the new office would meet various requirements and provide comfortable workplaces. Those workstations are tailored to the different tasks and functions within Agristo."
