Prowood on the theme of Technical Matt

FINSA will participate in this again this year, but this time its most recent novelty, Technical Matt, in particular will be in the spotlight at Prowood. FINSA will be present with a dark booth, executed almost entirely in the black version of the Technical Matt collection. Furthermore, large mood board walls will be lined with most interesting and latest materials.

TECHNICAL MATT, THE ULTRA MATT PLATE

This scratch-resistant plate with anti-fingerprint property has recently been launched on the market and is available on the, perhaps already known, unique superPan carrier, which is for sale via our Premium Partners: Baars & Bloemhoff, Maiburg and CRAS (Belgium), among others.

Technical Matt is a coated board and its top layer has many interesting properties. For example, it is ultra matte (gloss level of GU. 2%), it feels silky smooth and has an anti-fingerprint effect. These properties the board obtains through a special finish, which is very resistant due to the combination of acrylic lacquers and that of Electron Beam Curing (EBC). This makes Technical Matt suitable for both horizontal and vertical use.

The plate is resistant to the dry heat of a pan, suitable for food contact, easy to clean and antibacterial. This makes it ideally suited for kitchen countertops and kitchen fronts. The plate is also scratch and abrasion resistant and impact resistant. At Prowood, there is every opportunity to experience this slab for yourself.

Currently, Technical Matt is available in 3 colors: white, black and titan (gray). In 2022, the intention is to expand this collection of colors in a big way.

GAMMA TEX, MANY POSSIBILITIES

In addition to the Technical Matt sheet, we will also showcase our TEX range. The TEX range is a real eye-catcher in the interior or design. The texture pressed into the top layer of the board enhances its decorative quality. There are different textures in linear, geometric or fantasy shapes, offering great versatility for spaces or decorative solutions. 

Recently, to highlight this versatility, an inspirational tool has been released in collaboration with AkzoNobel in which all 9 types of the TEX range have been treated with transparent and/or opaque lacquers. By seeing the textures with the lacquer treatment, the possibilities of this range can be even more clearly imagined. Painted samples of the TEX range will also be on display on the moodboard walls, so that they will capture the imagination even more.
