Getting acquainted with the best tools? You can at Broeinest UTR!

The new Broeinest branch, a concept of Baars & Bloemhoff, is located in Utrecht. The setting for this knowledge center is the imposing werkspoor factory.  The Utrecht branch promises to become the knowledge center for current and future developments within the interior and furniture industry in the areas of (sheet) processing, software, sustainable building and operational excellence. Makers, designers, architects and students can brush up on their current practical knowledge and receive advice on how to create even more beautiful and sustainable interiors together. Leitz Service is also present in Utrecht. They will supply the tools for the machines used for drilling, sawing and milling. We speak with Jeroen van Dijk, Technical Sales Manager at Leitz Service.

Higher performance through better tools

"In the market, we often encounter situations where higher performance would be possible if one applied better tools," Van Dijk opens the conversation. "You can be very theoretical about that, however, there is nothing more convincing than practice. This is why we like to take our customers to Broeinest UTR, to show in practice through demos and workshops what optimized use of the right tools does within the production process."

The machines set up in Utrecht are a format saw, a dividing saw, a 5-axis CNC milling machine and an edgebanding machine, all supplied by Klingelnberg-Klauss. PCK also provides the proper dust extraction. "On those machines we can show the machining of various materials supplied by Baars & Bloemhoff. For example, Solid Surface, which requires specific machining. Trainer at Broeinest UTR, Anthony Jannink, supervises everything."

For Leitz Service, Broeinest UTR is a perfect place to show what a difference the right choice in tools can make. "We give the sheet metal worker insights into working more precisely and efficiently. That that saves costs is obvious," said Van Dijk.

Leitz Service got involved with Broeinest UTR because Baars & Bloemhoff was already in talks with Klingelnberg-Klauss, we learn. "That's also how we came into contact with the story, as a specialist in tools in the Netherlands. For us it is a nice extension of our new showroom in Elst(GLD), which is beautiful, but where no machining can be done. In Utrecht we can show the tools in full action.
