Leitz is OEM supplier for SCM in the range of circular saws

In the future, all fixtures of the Gabbiani models will be equipped with circular saws from the market leader from Oberkochen. For processors of MDF, chipboard, plywood, wood materials or solid wood, this means even more flexibility and durability in daily work.

About a year ago, SCM launched a comparison program to find a suitable tool partner for the initial set-up of the panel sizing machine. The goal: a manufacturer that stands out with excellent products but can also meet the high demands of SCM customers in terms of availability and reliability. The preferred choice was Leitz with its circular saw blades, which achieved excellent results in numerous material and machining tests. According to the vision of those in charge of SCM, the global sales and service network of the Leitz Group also fits perfectly with the equally globally represented machine manufacturer from Italy. Through the new cooperation, SCM customers will not only enjoy the benefits of Leitz products in the future. In the process, it will also be possible to make worn tools ready for use again in the shortest possible time in the numerous local Leitz Service workshops - and that in manufacturer quality. 

Leitz very much welcomes SCM's decision and sees even closer cooperation in the future as an ideal basis for further user-oriented further development of tools and machines.

Sheet-metal circular saw blades from Leitz

Two years ago, Leitz completely revised its program of panel circular saws. Since then, these saws have set the quality standard for sawing in plate cutting technology.
