Every interior says something about its occupant. Nevertheless, it remains difficult for many people to determine their own interior style. Reliable and professional advice can be very important in this regard, as can choosing the right material to make the furniture.

Table du Sud - founded in 2015 by brothers Teun and Evert Antonissen - specializes in producing distinctive furniture. This is done in their own workshop. Often commissioned and according to the client's wishes, but it is also possible to find inspiration at the four home furnishing stores in Rotterdam, Utrecht, Heeze and Deventer. Multiple reasons

A good example of Table du Sud's innovative products are its solid and solid-looking oak tables, made in its own workshop in Heeze. Robert van den Broek, purchasing team leader, explains the importance of the four showrooms. "People want to see and feel the products. In doing so, they also want good advice." 

Choosing high-quality material is essential, according to Van den Broek. "Since 2018, we have been purchasing our sheet material from Holland Laminati. Why? There are several reasons for this. Among them, we visited the VANCA Group's factory in Belgium. Holland Laminati is part of this Group of companies that all complement each other nicely. The visit was impressive. At first we did not know what a big company was behind it and saw a highly professional organization. Of course, the quality of the sheet metal was decisive. We soon noticed how pleasant the contact with Holland Laminati and its employees is. The lines of communication are short, they always think well of the customer and the price-quality ratio is excellent." 

Jan Lombaerts, general manager at Holland Laminati, underscores Van den Broek's explanation. "They were looking for a new supplier of decorative board material to make their furniture. The contact is indeed excellent and has continued to develop over the years. For example, there is weekly contact with Robert. We inform them, they are on the ball and there is a lot of mutual appreciation."

Various collections of decorative material

Holland Laminati has several exclusive collections of decorative board materials in its range. A good example is the INTUS Collection. This is an exclusive collection of decorative sheet material which includes the Italian brands Lombardo, SM'art and Fenix. The INTUS collection is available in high quality melamine decorative chipboard and HPL. In addition, there is of course Oakland, an exclusive oak veneer collection specifically for high-end interior projects. Oakland is also used by Table du Sud in luxury tabletops in particular. 

At Table du Sud, as previously reported, the choice often falls on Fenix, Lombaerts said. "Because we are part of the VANCA Group, we have direct contact with Fenix's manufacturer in Italy and can move quickly where necessary.

Thanks to years of cooperation, we are now well aware of what sheet material is required at Table du Sud. Developments in the market or introductions of new decors or materials are always communicated with the customer so they are always well informed."

According to Lombaerts, the latest development within the VANCA Group is one to be proud of and to the benefit of all customers. Kuiper Holland, producer of exclusive high-quality veneered board material, was recently acquired by the VANCA Group. "Because of this acquisition, we have an additional factory at our disposal which allows us to guarantee an even more complete range and fast deliveries."
