The protagonists of Flanders Flooring Days recently closed the doors behind them with satisfaction after a successful event. This third edition put the trade event for the European flooring industry firmly on the international map. The participants welcomed no fewer than 3,474 visitors from 78 countries in their showrooms and at The Hub in Kortrijk. New this edition: The Hub, Trend talks and a free shuttle service.
Since 2022, producers of hard and soft floors and derived products have been joining forces for the umbrella trade event Flanders Flooring Days. It started with leading manufacturers welcoming visitors to their showrooms and production facilities. Within a radius of 25 kilometers, more than ten resounding names from the sector took part. Also at this edition, founding partners Associated Weavers Europe, Balta, Beaulieu International Group, Belysse, Lano, Unilin Flooring and US Floors Coretec remain central to the fair.
Flanders Flooring Days remains a platform for the European supply of quality soft and hard flooring. In 2024, the concept grew in all areas. From May 13 to 16, the event was opened up and European manufacturers could come to The Hub to show their products. 38 international participants chose such a stand in Kortrijk Xpo. Also new this year were the inspiring Trend Talks. On Monday, May 13, Judith Van Vliet drew a full house with her seminar "Do you speak color?". A very accessible session that immediately offered inspiration to everyone active in the interior design sector with very valuable and useful takeaways. Christine Boland's Design Language Masterclass on Thursday was also received with great enthusiasm.
Visitors easily found their way from the showrooms to The Hub thanks to the free shuttle service. This allowed everyone to meet exactly those producers on their wish list. Reactions to the event were therefore very positive. In short ... it was a successful third edition of Flanders Flooring Days that leaves us wanting more. The trade fair will take place again in 2025, to be exact from June 2 to 5. Mark these dates in your agenda.
