Häfele Connect Mesh 2.0

The new Connect Mesh 2.0 App makes programming lighting easier than ever, as it guides you step by step through the entire process. Michel explains: "The previous app already offered many features, but with the new version we have made the navigation much more intuitive and visual. The design of all screens and buttons has been completely redesigned and is much more user-friendly. When setting up a new installation, all components are automatically detected and you can easily adjust settings, such as choosing between multi-white, RGB or monochrome lighting. Other new features include time and voice control."

What's new?

- Modern design: The app has a new, modern and intuitive design that is in line with what you are used to from other apps;

- Dark and light mode: Choose your favorite color mode yourself or let the app automatically select the best color for that time of day for you;

- Programming and operating mode: Installers see all the necessary information in one view during installation. Users see only what they need, without the slightly more complex, technical details;

- Dashboard: Place your favorite features directly on the home screen by placing a "star" next to them. This way you have everything quickly at hand;

- Groups and scenes separated: Easily create scenes independent of groups. Set multiple lamps to a preset color simultaneously without having to set each lamp individually;

- Timetables: Set a time schedule for each lamp or group of lamps.

Added stylish black switchgear

One matching development is Häfele's new black switchgear. This includes remote controls, wall switches and motion detectors. "The trend in the market called for black switches that better suit modern, dark interiors," Michel explains. "You now have the choice between controlling the lights manually via stylish switches or you control them via the Häfele Connect Mesh app."

The latest dimmer and door switches from Häfele can be used as both a dimmer and a door sensor. In dimmer mode, you can dim the lights in your furniture by holding your hand in front of the dimmer until the desired brightness is reached. Moving your hand briefly in front of the dimmer switches the lighting on or off. In sensor mode, the light is activated as soon as a furniture or cabinet door is opened. 

"Our switches are, upon delivery, set by default in the (door) sensor mode. If you want to use the dimming mode you have to change it before installation. A special advantage is that you can set the desired brightness in the dimmer mode and then keep it when changing to the sensor mode. Another advantage of the updated dimmer/sensor is that it comes standard with three different covers, namely white, black and gray. Thus, with just one item, you can always make the best choice for your furniture."

Led-on-Masure and Lighting Plan Service for personal consultation

To make working with lighting even easier, Häfele also offers the Led-on-Maat Service and the Lighting Plan Service. "With Led-on-Maat, we can supply customized lighting, even for small quantities," Michel explains. "This takes work off your hands and ensures that you are not left with unnecessary residual stock. If picking the right materials and connecting them is still a difficult job, you can use our Lighting Plan Service. Based on a sketch or short description, we will help you choose the right materials and you will receive an order list as well as a wiring diagram for easy and correct connection of the lighting."
