One of the eye-catchers at HoutPro+ was Cleaf Decor Chipboard's ornate tunnel in Hall 5. The slogan, "See, Feel, Experience," clearly lived up to its name. From wooden slats to textiles and from stucco to coppery metallics. Twelve years of hard work on its own collection building, relationships and brand awareness paid off for DecoLegno at the trade fair in Den Bosch.
"In the run-up to HoutPro+, our sales team was in full excitement," says Patrick Leering, director of DecoLegno. "In the end, the fair was one big highlight. The communication with the organization went super, also towards the construction. Both participants and visitors, everyone was enthusiastic. The reactions to the booth, but also to our company, were very positive. The best compliment I received was from a relation from the very first hour: "Your collection is really distinctive in the market. It is innovative every time."
Patrick continues: "Our distinctiveness lies mainly in focusing on one product where we get the most out of it. Cleaf originates from Italy and we like to jump on all the innovations in melamine and HPL. We make sure our collection is right for the Dutch and Belgian markets."
During HoutPro+, all of DecoLegno's novelties were visible in large format. The new series Jiometori, with horizontal and vertical lines in wood variations and an army green uni color. The exclusive Fusion collection, melamine with a real textile finish. The latest decors in Lacca, where metallics play an important role. Quercia, with its new oak texture and lastly the latest Ares color was also presented, with the look of plaster or stucco.
DecoLegno was present with a second booth at HoutPro+. Here visitors could get acquainted with the new solid surface program of Durasein®. This collection stands out with enchanting and high-profile designs. These include decors with lively veins, subtle glitters or particles that give the experience of glass, granite or sandstone grains. But also timeless and contemporary uni colors.
Even though the fair was unforgettable for Patrick and his team, he is already looking forward to the next edition: "I would love it if one day there would be a 'record square'. In the middle a catering area and then around it the presentations of the latest materials. At five o'clock the bar can open, music can be played, and the day can end together. We are all there with the same objective: meeting customers, networking and showing new materials. It would be great if we could do that together, wouldn't it? We patiently await edition 2025."
