Baars & Bloemhoff

We are a company that originated in 1972 when Goodwin Baars and Gerard Bloemhoff started a wholesale business in decorative sheet material. With their passionate commercial spirit, they were the first to introduce Pfleiderer products on a large scale in the Netherlands. With this they laid the foundation for a company that would fully dedicate itself to the needs of the interior builder with a wide range of products. They grew, gained a broader customer base and made a name for themselves in interior building Holland. For 27 years, Baars & Bloemhoff remained an independent family business until it was taken over by another family business, The Stiho Group, in 1999.
Since then, the specialism of Baars & Bloemhoff has continued to be built under that umbrella. With a young club of people averaging 35 years of age, we scour international markets in search of new materials and brands that can make interiors in the Netherlands more beautiful. A variety of exclusive materials and brands are now available from stock.

What drives us?
We get excited about beautifully made interiors of stores, offices, hospitality, healthcare facilities and other public spaces.

What do we want?
We want to inspire the interior designer with the latest developments in the field of decorative sheet material. We also like to make the interior designer more successful by providing him with the right advice and by delivering the materials he orders on time and in good order.

How do we do that?
Our interior professionals will advise you at one of our 4 sales offices and our account managers will be happy to visit you. In addition, we are happy to put our Inspiration Centers in Amsterdam and Schiedam at your disposal, where you can see and feel more than 2000 changing decors on at least A4 size. The logistics team in Zaandam, takes care of efficient packaging and shipping of the ordered materials.
