The Ostermann Group with headquarters and central warehouse in Bocholt Germany is a highly customer-oriented and in Europe growing specialist trade for kitchen, furniture and interior construction. With around 475 employees and shipping up to 6,000 order lines daily, Ostermann is the market leader in Europe when it comes to edgebanding, furniture fittings, installation items and workshop supplies. From Bocholt Germany and branches in the Netherlands, Belgium, Great Britain, Italy, Sweden (new), Switzerland, Romania and France, Ostermann supplies more than 25,000 kitchen, furniture and interior design companies throughout Europe.

About Ostermann Netherlands BV

Already in 1993, Rudolf Ostermann GmbH took over the shares and thus Medomat BV became the first foreign subsidiary. In 2012, due to the expansions in Europe and uniformity within the group, the name change from Medomat to Ostermann Nederland BV followed. In the Nijverdal office, a team of 17 FTE works the Dutch market. Every day they advise and sell the ever-growing Ostermann range of edgebanding, furniture fittings, installation items and workshop supplies to customers throughout the Netherlands under the leadership of director Erik Sambros.

At furniture fittings can be considered the complete Hettich program, Grass drawers, hinges and flap hardware, again with the service of buying it by the piece in parts or having it delivered ready-made to measure. Also, the extensive assortment furniture lighting, joining technology (e.g. Lamello) or all conceivable types adhesives for wood and panel processing, from the well-known brands and our own brand Redocol, sinks and faucets, waste systems, ready-made furniture fronts, Forbo linoleum, from 1 meter per decimeter from the roll or cut to exact size, are exemplified within the extensive collection.
