Gray or rather colorful: wooden facades in any shade with glazes from ADLER

Pre-grayed wooden facades have been a trend and an eye-catcher in the streetscape for years. The Austrian wood protection specialist ADLER is a pioneer in this field and with Pullex Silverwood brought the first and still most popular aging enamel to the market more than twenty years ago: it makes short work of the natural weathering process and ensures that wood ages evenly.

Meanwhile, wood can be grayed in many different ways. For example, there are solvent-based and water-based products on the market, which can be used for different wood types and surfaces. Pre-graying with ADLER products knows no limits: neither in terms of intensity nor in terms of color shade: from light shiny silver to dark smoky brown: anything is possible.

Not only pre-grayed facades are in, but increasingly colored facades can be found in the streetscape. More and more architects and planners are combining protection with beauty and appreciate the opportunity to stand out with special use of color. In addition, nowadays the surface of a wooden façade is no longer completely "covered" by the paint, but rather the natural beauty of the wood is well emphasized.
