ADLER: uv protection for interior wood surfaces

Wood is the building material of the past, present and future. Maintaining character

Once wood is exposed to light, certain components - especially lignin - break down. As a result, the color changes. This undesirable effect can only be counteracted with the right surface treatment. Especially for softwood used indoors, ADLER - with the ADLER Benelux branch in Heeze, Brabant - has therefore developed Lignovit Interior UV 100. Special light protection agents have been added to this water-based wood glaze, which absorb UV radiation and stabilize the lignin component. The matt, transparent wood glaze ensures that the surface remains beautiful for a long time.  

Protection and design

Especially in modern architecture, with bright rooms full of daylight and large windows, this surface protection is simply indispensable. Many manufacturers of wooden building components therefore already treat the visible wooden surfaces with ADLER Lignovit Interior UV 100 in the factory. This has a pleasant side effect: The thin layer of varnish protects the wood against moisture, dirt and damage even during transport and installation. In addition, visually attractive effects can be achieved. This is because Lignovit Interior UV 100 is available in different color tones: from the soft creamy white "Montblanc" and the naturally light "Zugspitze" to the grayish "Spok". Lignovit Interior UV 100 is also part of ADLER's green range: the glaze contains no chemical wood preservatives and can be used indoors without any problems. Thanks to its high breathability, the glaze ensures a healthy indoor climate.
